The treatments were: 1) a commercial mycorrhizal inoculum, containing propagules of endo- and ectomycorrhizal fungi; 2) a mixture of a commercial rock powder and commercial bacteria; 3) ''Grander water'', i.e. tap water passed close to tanks of water retaining ''information'' in a homeopathic sense; 4) tap water treated with water where an emerald was immersed for a short time (''emerald-elixir''); 5) commercial quartz powder subjected to particular treatments (Plocher-quartz powder). Among these tratments, only mycorrhizal infection was able to increase plant fresh weight and the shoot/root ratio of the plants. The authors discuss the possibility to apply treatments based on the ''memory of water'' in viticulture. [D 16] (A. Schubert, Grugliasco) Descriptor: FERTILIZING; MYCORRHIZA; SOIL; SHOOT; ROOT |
